We wrapped up 2011 with a wonderful tournament at PGA National. What a golf paradise! Charlie Lewis was low net among the "young guns", while George Piepho led the seasoned gentlemen. Janice Parker posted the low net score among the ladies. All scores are posted in the Members section.

2012 dues notices haved been mailed - be sure you're in for another great year. Also, please plan to join us at Innisbrook for our 2012 kickoff in February!

  • Equitable Stroke Control - The Georgia Senior Golf Association requires all its members to post all their event scores in accordance with the Equitable Stroke Control (ESC) guidelines issued by the USGA. The ESC procedure sets a maximum score that a golfer can post for handicap purposes on any hole. The maximum number depends on the golfer's course handicap. The accompanying table tells you the maximum score you can post for any one hole. While GSGA tournaments might have different scoring rules mainly designed to improve the pace of play, each player should determine his or her probable score, in accordance with ESC rules, and post each total score at your home Club or on the GSGA website. The accompanying table will be used to set the maximum hole score for posting purposes.

Remember, if you are out of a hole and pick up to speed up play or do not play the hole under the Rules of Golf, write down the score you most likely would have made, using ESC guidelines. DO NOT write down the maximum score for an incomplete hole unless your probable score exceeds your maximum.

To post your score online, you will need to have your GHIN number handy. Then click on the GSGA website logo above, click on "Internet Score Posting" and follow the instructions.
